CubeSmart Self Storage

The CubeSmart Self Storage building in St. Petersburg, Florida, doesn’t fit the stereotype of self-storage buildings. The building looks more like an office than a self-storage facility. It features retail on the first floor, with three floors of self-storage above.

On the site of a former motel, Altis Cardinal LLC developed CubeSmart Self Storage. Retail space is on the first floor and self storage space occupies three floors above. Access to storage units is through interior corridors, so the storage units are hidden.

Performance Contracting Inc. installed two types of Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.’s insulated metal panels (IMPs) in three colors: KS Azteco IMPs in Driftwood and Ascot White, and KS Micro-Rib IMPs in Zinc Gray.
