Dri-Design Shadow

Dri-Design Shadow cassettes allow architects and designers to add depth and definition to any building design. Individual panels can be extended at varying depths to create texture or a dynamic variation in patterns, all while keeping the substrate and weather barrier in the same plane.

Dri-Design Tapered

Dri-Design Tapered cassettes can be angled in any direction with varying depths and degree of slope, giving architects and designers the freedom to create a dynamic, one-of-a-kind surface on nearly any façade, without the need to modify the substrate or weather barrier.

Dri-Design Perforated

Dri-Design Shadow, Tapered and Flat cassettes can be perforated. Using advanced computer-based manufacturing, the size, location and density of the perforations are varied, creating areas of light, dark and shades to form an image. Since images can be created from any digital picture, architects are only limited by their imagination.

Two stand-out projects which leveraged the innovative design possibilities and versatile features of this façade portfolio include Orlando City Soccer Club and the La Maison Simons Distribution Center.

The Orlando City Soccer Club project used Dri-Design's Perforated Imaging collection to integrate patterns and graphics onto architectural elements. This collection made it possible for architects to create a custom logo on the scoreboard, adding a visually striking and unique aesthetic dimension to the club’s surroundings. In addition to creating a customized look, perforations provide airflow needed to keep electronics from overheating.

Architects also selected Kingspan’s KarrierPanel in combination with the Dri-Design aluminum Tapered series cassettes to create an inspiring and architecturally modern façade for La Maison Simon’s massive distribution center and office campus in Quebec City, Quebec. Leveraging the ability to vary direction, depth, and degrees of slope with these cassettes, architects created striking façade patterns inspired by woven fabric thread to reflect La Maison Simon’s brand identity as one of the largest fashion retailers in Canada.
