At Kingspan Insulated Panels North America, our Planet Passionate Communities program is driving change across North America, with a focus on environmental sustainability and local community support. Reflecting on the first half of 2025, our teams across North America have made incredible strides working to foster a greener future.
In celebration of Earth Day, our Langley team hosted a seed drive, distributing flower seeds to employees and the community. This initiative was a great way to encourage everyone to plant and nurture their own gardens. Additionally, the Langley team has enhanced its commitment to sustainability by adding a garden to its beehive area to further promote biodiversity.
In Columbus, the team took part in a local clean-up along Marion Road, removing an impressive 186 pounds of trash and recyclables. This initiative helped to beautify the area and create a cleaner environment for the community.
At our Caledon facility, the team made significant strides in supporting electronic recycling efforts. Through a partnership with the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), the team donated used electronic equipment such as laptops, tablets, mini computers and monitors to support charitable organizations, non-profits and educational institutions in need.
Additionally, Caledon employees participated in a local clean-up effort, collecting 28 bags of waste in just one hour. More than 300 pounds of debris were removed, demonstrating the collective power of our team in preserving the environment.
Modesto’s honeybee garden has flourished in 2025, featuring drought-resistant native plants and providing a habitat for pollinators. This project aligns with Kingspan’s ongoing commitment to creating sustainable, thriving ecosystems.
In April, the Modesto team partnered with Operation 9-2-99 to restore the North bank of the Stanislaus River in preparation for Modesto RecFest. This clean-up effort was part of Kingspan’s ongoing mission to revitalize natural spaces and engage with the local community.
The Modesto plant also hosted a successful pet food drive, collecting more than 1,000 pounds of food for Pupz N Palz Pet Rescue, a local animal welfare organization. This initiative highlights Kingspan’s continued commitment to supporting the well-being of animals in our communities.
Our DeLand team took part in Volusia County’s 29th Annual Clean-Up at Lake Beresford Park, a 210-acre nature park in Florida. The team, including 36 Kingspan employees and their families and friends, collected a wide range of materials including aluminum, glass, plastic, rubber, tires, paper and metal. The event lasted three hours, and volunteers donated a total of 108 hours.
To ensure the event’s success, the team supplied safety vests, gloves, bags and grabbers, and provided refreshments to keep the volunteers energized. As a result of this impactful event, Kingspan plans to collaborate with Volusia County on additional community clean-up efforts.
In the first half of 2025, Kingspan’s Planet Passionate Communities program has continued to demonstrate the power of local engagement and the collective action of our employees. Through clean-ups, gardening projects, electronic recycling, and support for animal welfare, Kingspan is making a tangible difference in communities across North America.
