The new dealership features two floors of showrooms, service, administrative offices and a riding academy. From groundbreaking to grand opening, the massive dealership was constructed in less than a year. The use of Optimo® and KS Mini-Wave insulated metal panels helped create the custom Harley Davidson look, while improving speed-of-build.

Bluegrass Harley Davidson revved up its business over the years and was ready for a new home. The dealership needed more space in a prime location to sell and service bikes, along with host its riding academy. With supply chain challenges continuing through the COVID-19 pandemic, the new dealership, announced in 2020, faced delays.

The need for speed required a building envelope that came together quickly. Optimo® panels are an all-in-one solution that provide strong thermal efficiency. With only an installer necessary to erect the panels, further scheduling delays can be avoided on the construction site, allowing for faster dry-in. The panels have an R-value of up to 8 per inch when equipped with QuadCore® insulation core, providing a strong air, water and vapor barrier. Optimo® panels incorporate seamlessly with the KS Mini-Wave panels used on the dealership, using the same patented double seal integrated joint. KS Mini-Wave panels continue the superior thermal performance of the building envelope, while adding a striking look to contrast with the flat Optimo® profile.
